Mobility and transport. This year sees 69 new eco buses come into service, 23 of them electric and 46 of them hybrid electric and compressed natural gas vehicles.
Housing. The two blocks will be the first to use industrialised construction techniques after the APROP homes.
Tourism. The city’s Biosphere certificate has been renewed until 2024, recognising good practice in responsible and sustainable tourism.
Mobility and transport. Work will then begin on awarding the works contracts and commencing the work on the Verdaguer-Glòries stretch this coming autumn.
Public space. Eleven permanent terraces are being installed in June, with the four chosen prototypes all designed in Barcelona.
