Disruptions to mobility with the Barcelona Triathlon

The competition is on Sunday, 10 October, from 8 am to 3 pm.

This edition brings a revamped event consisting of two competitions: one with a single distance for the general public, and the other the European Triathlon Cup, an international event for top-class men and women triathletes from around the world.

The Barcelona Triathlon is back on 10 October with a new format, organised by the Barcelona Institute of Sports (IBE) in collaboration with the Spanish Triathlon Federation (FETRI). The last edition was cancelled due to the pandemic, while over a thousand athletes are expected to take part in this year’s event.

The following streets will be closed from 8 am to 3 pm, which is when the various events take place:

Streets affected by the cycling circuit:

  • Avinguda del Litoral, Carrer de Josep Pla, Passeig de Garcia Fària, Passeig de Calvell, Carrer de la Llacuna, Carrer de Salvador Espriu, Carrer de l’Arquitecte Sert, Avinguda d’Icària, Carrer de la Marina and Carrer de Pujades.

Streets affected by the circuit on foot:

  • Passeig Marítim del Bogatell, Avinguda del Litoral, Carrer de Josep Pla, Passeig de Garcia Fària and Passeig de la Jonquera.
