You can start the procedure online if you are a transport enterprise and have a user name and password provided by the GUB.
Otherwise you can ask for these from the GUB's Special Transport Office.
Public-space occupation permits for scaffolding or cranes
A GUB permit is required for putting up cranes on public roads that can lift over fifteen tons and for parking vehicles transporting materials for assembling or dismantling scaffolding.
Where such work is expected to lead to serious traffic restrictions or even road closures, Guardia Urbana will be required to intervene.
