Disruptions to mobility for the Barcelona Half Marathon

Disruptions start on the night of Friday, 15 October.

Some 14,000 runners are expected to take part in this year’s event.

The Half Marathon takes place on Sunday, 17 October, from 8.30 am to 12 noon, and means restrictions on traffic circulation and entrances to car parks in all streets on the route for the run:

Pg. Pujades (start line) – Pg. Picasso – Av. Marquès de l’Argentera – Pg. Isabel II – Pg. Colom – Pg. Josep Carner – Pl. Drassanes – Av. Paral·lel – C/ Entença – Gran Via – C/ Bailèn – Rda. Sant Pere – Pg. Sant Joan – Pg. Lluís Companys – C/ Buenaventura Muñoz – C/ Pallars – C/ Llacuna – C/ Perú – C/ Josep Pla – Gran Via – Rbla. Prim – Av. Diagonal (Llobregat direction) – C/ Espronceda – Av. Diagonal (Besòs direction) – Pl. Llevant – Pg. Taulat – C/ Selva de Mar – Pg. Garcia Fària – Pg. Calvell – Av. Litoral – Port Olímpic – C/ Arquitecte Sert – C/ Salvador Espriu – C/ Marina – Pg. Pujades (finish line).

Traffic will also be cut in Pg. Pujades, between Pg. Lluís Companys and C/ Wellington, on various occasions: the side nearest the sea, Saturday at 4 pm, and the side nearest the mountains and the bike lane, Sunday at 4 am, then both sides at 5 am, as well as Pg. Picasso. Traffic in C/ Pujades should be back to normal at 3 pm on Sunday.

Parking prohibitions

Parking will not be allowed (including motorbikes) in the following spaces:

  • From 9 pm on 15 October to 12.30 pm on 17 October:
    • Av. Diagonal (side nearest the mountains), from Rambla de Prim to Espronceda.
    • Av. Diagonal (side nearest the sea), from Espronceda to Llull.
    • Av. Diagonal (side nearest the sea) from Bac de Roda to Fluvià.
  • From 7.30 am on 16 October to 12.30 pm on 17 October:
    • Pg. Pujades, from Meridiana to Pg. Lluís Companys (side nearest the mountains).
    • Pg. Picasso, from Pujades to Marquès de l’Argentera (Llobregat direction – side nearest the Llobregat).
    • Pg. Colom, from Pl. Antonio López to Simó Oller (side nearest the mountains).
    • Pg. Colom, from Louis Braille to Parc (side nearest the mountains).
    • Entença, from Av. Paral·lel to Gran Via (side nearest the Besòs).
    • Bailèn, from Gran Via to Rda. Sant Pere (side nearest the Llobregat).
    • Buenaventura Muñoz, from Pg. Lluís Companys to Meridiana (side nearest the mountains).
    • Buenaventura Muñoz, from Pg. Lluís Companys to Roger de Flor (side nearest the sea).
    • Pallars, from Roc Boronat to Llacuna (side nearest the mountains).
    • Pallars–Llacuna (corner nearest the Llobregat and the mountains).
    • Llacuna, from Pallars to Tànger (side nearest the Llobregat).
    • Llacuna, from Av. Diagonal to Perú (side nearest the Besòs).
    • Perú, from Llacuna to Rbla. Poblenou (both sides).
    • Rambla Prim (lane nearest the Llobregat), from Pere IV to Cristóbal de Moura (side nearest the Besòs).
    • Rambla Prim (lane nearest the Llobregat), from Llull to Pl. Llevant (side nearest the Besòs).
    • Josep Pla, from Pg. Garcia Fària to Taulat (side nearest the Llobregat).
    • Pg. Garcia Fària, from Josep Pla to Selva de Mar (side nearest the mountains).
    • Pg. Garcia Fària, from Josep Ferrater i Mora to Jonquera (side nearest the mountains).
    • Jonquera, from Pg. Garcia Fària to Av. Litoral (side nearest the Besòs).
