The City Police have been connected to this event since it started and the inclusion of the name of the corps in the title pays homage to the work of the police, essential for guaranteeing safety in the city. As ever, a team of sixty-four police officers will be taking part in the run.
The run sets off from the junction between Av. Diagonal and Av. Pedralbes on Sunday, 29 May, at 8.30 am. The route goes past Pl. Francesc Macià and continues in the central lanes of the avenue before turning into Passeig de Gràcia at the 3.5 km mark.
After that it’s into C/ València, passing in front of La Pedrera, and at the 4.7 km mark it’s into Passeig de Sant Joan and as far as C/ Consell de Cent.
The run pays homage to Av. Diagonal and offers the challenge of rediscovering the avenue from a festive perspective, far removed from the daily hubbub.
