The technical area will be located in Pl. Cascades, Pl. Puig i Cadafalch and Pl. Carles Buïgas, with spectators able to see the music and fireworks spectacular from Av. Rius i Taulet, Av. Reina Maria Cristina and Pl. Espanya. Traffic circulation will be prohibited in all streets affected by the security perimeter during the event.
Pedestrian access will not be permitted:
- In Pl. Josep Puig i Cadafalch on 24 September, from 8 am.
- In the entire technical area, including all steps and ramps, on 25 September, from 3 pm.
Roads will be closed to traffic in Av. Reina Maria Cristina, Av. Rius i Taulet and Av. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia (between the streets of Guàrdia Urbana and Mèxic), as from 6 pm on 25 September (or before this if the accumulation of spectators warrants it).
Some sections of Av. Montanyans will be closed to traffic from 7 pm.
Prohibition on parking
Parking will be prohibited (including motorcycles on pavements) as follows:
Plaça de Carles Buïgas (around the Italy Pavilion). From 8 am on 21 September to 1 am on 26 September.
From 6 pm on 24 September to 1 am on 26 September in:
- Reina Maria Cristina (both sides), from Av. Rius i Taulet to Pl. Espanya.
- Rius i Taulet (both sides) between Av. Reina Maria Cristina and Guàrdia Urbana.
- Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia (side nearest the sea), between Av. Reina Maria Cristina and the access road to the Pavelló Mies van der Rohe.
- Plaça de Carles Buïgas.
- Guàrdia Urbana, esplanade in front of Segons Jocs Mediterranis (Pl. Viudes).
- Montanyans, side nearest the Besòs at the Palau Nacional (both sides), from the viewing deck at the Palau to the Capella de Santa Madrona Poble-sec.
- Montanyans, side nearest the Llobregat at the Palau Nacional (first two staggered parking areas).
- Viewing deck at the Palau Nacional (both sides).
- Espanya – Av. Reina Maria Cristina (both sides / motorcycles on pavements).
From 7 am on 25 September to 7 am on 26 September, in Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes (side nearest the mountain), going over the fork with Carretera de la Bordeta (motorcycle parking space).
From 2 pm on 25 September to 1 am on 26 September in Pl. Carles Buïgas.
Prohibition on moving vehicles
Vehicles parked in the following locations will not be able to be moved from 9 pm on 25 September to 1 am on 26 September:
- Montanyans, side nearest the Besòs at the Palau Nacional (both sides), from the Capella de Santa Madrona Poble-sec to the rear of the Palau Nacional.
- Montanyans, rear of the Palau Nacional (side nearest the mountain).
- Montanyans, side nearest the Llobregat at the Palau Nacional (last two staggered parking sections).
Vehicles which remain parked in these streets may be cordoned off.
