The new edition of La Cursa El Corte Inglés will be taking place on Sunday 5 May at 9.00 am.

The race, with a 10 kilometre course, maintains its urban essence and takes in some of the most iconic streets in Barcelona. It sets off at 9.00 am from outside El Corte Inglés Diagonal and participants will be grouped according to their estimated race time, with all runners taking part in the race wearing a chip.

The money raised from the 44th edition of La Cursa El Corte Inglés.will go to the Fundació Catalana d’ELA Miquel Valls. The organisers have chose this foundation due to the crucial work they do supporting people affected by ALS and their families in Catalonia, and promoting research into this neurodegenerative disease.

Registration for La Cursa El Corte Inglés will remain open and participants can sign up via the website until all 33,000 bibs have been taken.

As a new feature this year, people who register before 12 April will have the chance to customise their bib and collect it from the shop selected on the registration form.

Once again, Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) will be collaborating with the race, offering single metro and bus tickets to participants (while stocks last) for their journey on the day of the race.
