The Jean Bouin is being held on Sunday, 26 November, at 9 am. The run sets off from Av. Reina Maria Cristina and either finishes in the same place or in Passeig de Lluís Companys, depending on the circuit chosen (5km or 10km). Other shorter circuits will be entirely within the Parc de Montjuïc. The main disruptions to mobility will be in the morning, in the districts of Sants-Montjuïc, L’Eixample and Ciutat Vella.
The first closures to traffic will be in place at midnight on Saturday, 25, in Av. Reina Maria Cristina, and at 5 am on Sunday, 26, in a nearby section of Av. Rius i Taulet and Av. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia, to set things up.
The main restrictions will be on the day of the run, Sunday, from 8 am. Traffic will be unable to circulate in sections of the following streets until 11 am: Av. Paral·lel, Floridablanca, Entença, Casp, Ausiàs Marc, Girona, Bruc, Alí Bei, Rda. Sant Pere, Pg. Sant Joan, Buenaventura Muñoz, Roger de Flor, Pg. Lluís Companys, Pg. Pujades, Pg. Picasso, Av. Marquès de l’Argentera, Marquès de Campo Sagrado, Calàbria, Manso and Tamarit. The prohibition will remain in place until 3 pm in some sections of Pl. Carles Buïgas, C/ Guàrdia Urbana, Pg. Santa Madrona and Av. Montanyans.
Parking restrictions, diversions and changes in traffic direction
Parking restrictions will apply from 8 pm on Friday, 24, until 5 pm on Sunday, 26, in Av. Reina Maria Cristina and sections of Av. Rius i Taulet and Av. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia. From 7 pm on Saturday, 25, until 11 am on Sunday, 26, restrictions will affect sections of Rda. Sant Pere and C/ Buenaventura Muñoz.
The direction of traffic will also be reversed in sections of various streets: Pg. Picasso, Casp, Girona, Alí Bei, Marquès del Campo Sagrado, Manso, Vilamarí, Pg. Santa Madrona and Arc del Teatre.
The main diversions will be in Gran Via, via C/ Entença, in Av. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia, via C/ Polvorí, and in Av. Estadi, via C/ Jocs del 92.
Disruptions to 33 bus services
The event affects 33 bus services, with their routes altered or limited while the run is held. They are: D20, D50, H12, H14, H16, V9, V11, V13, V15, V17, V19, 7, 13, 19, 21, 22, 24, 39, 46, 47, 54, 55, 59, 63, 65, 67, 79, 120, 121, 141 and 150, as well as the red and blue routes operated by the Barcelona Bus Turístic. TMB recommends using the metro as an alternative means of transport.
