The Cursa de la Dona [Women’s Fun Run] is being held on Sunday, 12 November, setting off from Pg. Pujades at 9 am and finishing in Pg. Lluís Companys. The main disruptions to mobility will be in the morning in the districts of Ciutat Vella, L’Eixample, Sant Martí and, to a lesser extent, Sants-Montjuïc.
The circulation of vehicles will be prohibited between 6 am and 1 pm in some sections of Pg. Pujades, C/ Marina, Av. Marquès de l’Argentera, Pg. Colom, Av. Paral·lel, Rda Sant Pau, C/ Comte Urgell, C/ Bruc and C/ Trafalgar.
The main diversions will be in Gran Via, at the junctions with C/ Entença and C/ Calàbria, and in Av. Paral·lel, where circulation will be restricted to ascending traffic from Av. Drassanes to Rda. Sant Pau.
A two-way traffic flow will be established in C/ Ribera and C/ Fusina, around El Born CCM, in Pla de Palau and in C/ Parc and C/ Arc del Teatre, near the lower section of La Rambla, and in sections of C/ Sant Pere Més Alt, C/ Roger de Llúria and C/ Casp.
Parking will be prohibited in some sections of Pg. Pujades from 8 pm on Friday until 3 pm on Sunday, 12 November. As from 6 am on Saturday, the prohibition will be extended to some sections of C/ Pujades, Av. Icària and Pg. Circumval·lació.
Disruptions to 29 bus services
The event will affect 29 bus services which cover part of the route, meaning they will either be limited or diverted during the run. These are: D20, D50, H12, H14, H16, V11, V13, V15, V17, V19, V21, 7, 19, 21, 22, 24, 39, 47, 54, 55, 59, 63, 67, 120, 121, 136 and 141, plus the blue and red routes of the Bus Turístic service. TMB recommends using the metro as an alternative means of transport.
In addition, service on the T4 Trambesòs line will be interrupted from 7 am to 10 am on Sunday.
