The 10km run starts and finishes in Av. Reina Maria Cristina, with the main disruptions to mobility starting on Saturday.
During the run, scheduled from 8.30 am to 10.30 am, traffic restrictions will be in place in all streets along the route:
Av. Reina Maria Cristina – Pl. Espanya (side nearest the sea) – Av. Paral·lel, from Pl. Espanya to Lleida (side nearest the sea) Av. Paral·lel, from Lleida to Calàbria (side nearest the mountains, in the opposite direction) – Calàbria Gran Via C C, from Calàbria to Rbla. Catalunya (central section) Gran Via C C, from Rbla. Catalunya to Pg. de Gràcia (side nearest the sea) – Gran Via Corts Catalanes, from Pg. de Gràcia to Pl. Tetuán (central section) Pl. Tetuan (side nearest the sea and the Llobregat) – Pg. Sant Joan (side nearest the Llobregat) – Ali Bei (opposite direction) – Roger de Flor (opposite direction) – Pg. Pujades, (side nearest the mountains and the fourth lane on the side nearest the sea, in the opposite direction) – Pg. Lluís Companys (side nearest the Besòs) – Rda. Sant Pere Pl. Urquinaona (central section) – Rda. Sant Pere Pl. Catalunya (side nearest the mountains) – Rda. Universitat Pl. Universitat (upper section of the side nearest the sea) – Rda. Sant Antoni (side nearest the Llobregat) – Sepúlveda Viladomat – Av. Paral·lel, from Viladomat to Lleida (side nearest the mountains) Av. Paral·lel, from Lleida to Pl. Espanya (side nearest the sea, in the opposite direction) – Pl. Espanya (side nearest the sea) – Av. Reina Maria Cristina.
The route will be reopened to traffic progressively, as runners pass through each point.
Once the main run ends, the family version will be held, with the same traffic restrictions to apply. In this case the route will be:
Av. Reina Maria Cristina – Pl. Espanya (side nearest the sea) – Av. Paral·lel (side nearest the sea) – Lleida (ascending lanes) – Pg. Santa Madrona (descending lane) – Guàrdia Urbana (descending lane) – Av. Rius i Taulet.
The restriction on traffic circulation in Av. Reina Maria Cristian starts on Saturday, 28, at 3 pm.
Pg. Lluís Companys will be closed from Almogàvers to Av. Vilanova from 7 am on Sunday 29.
The dismantling process will start once the tail end of the runners passes through, except for the start/finish line, where the process will start around 11 am and conclude before 4 pm.
Parking prohibited
Parking prohibitions (including motorcycles on pavements):
From 7 am on Wednesday, 25, to 10 pm on Sunday, 29, in Pl. Carles Buïgas in the area behind the Pavelló d’Itàlia.
From 8 am on Friday, 27, to 5 pm on Sunday, 29, on both sides of Av. Reina Maria Cristina.
From 6 am on Saturday, 28, to 3 pm on Sunday, 29, in:
- Av. Francesc Ferrer i Guàrdia, from the entrance road to the Mies van der Rohe to Av. Reina Maria Cristina.
- Av. Rius i Taulet (both sides), from Av. Reina Maria Cristina to Guàrdia Urbana.
From 2 pm on Saturday, 28, to 11 am on Sunday, 29, in:
- Ali Bei – Roger de Flor (corner nearest the sea and the Llobregat).
- Roger de Flor (side nearest the Llobregat), from Buenaventura Muñoz to Pg. Pujades.
- Pg. Lluís Companys (road surface on the side nearest the Besòs), from Pg. Pujades to Buenaventura Muñoz.
- Sepúlveda – Viladomat (corner nearest the sea and the Besòs).
Vehicles that remain parked despite the signage may be removed by the tow-away service.
People with functional diversity will be able to park on the side of the road nearest the mountains in Av. Rius i Taulet, from Guàrdia Urbana to Av. Reina Maria Cristina.
Prohibition on moving vehicles
Vehicles that remain parked, despite the signage and the measures adopted, in streets around the route where parking has not been expressly prohibited will be immobilised to prevent them being moved during the event.
Vehicles parked in streets around the route where the run goes in the opposite direction to usual will also be cordoned off.
Public transport
Bus services affected by the event will be diverted or see their routes limited:
D20, D50, H12, H14, H16, V9, V11, V13, V15, V17, V19, 6, 7, 13, 19, 21, 22, 24, 39, 46, 47, 54, 55, 59, 63, 65, 67, 79, 120, 121, 141, 150 and Barcelona Bus Turístic (blue and red routes).
Bicing stations around the route will be out of service during the event.
People are advised to use the metro to get to the start point for the event, getting off at the Espanya stop (L1/L3).
