Disruptions to mobility for the Nose Race

Safety and prevention. Restrictions to circulation for the run.

The international event starts at around 4.20 pm on Wednesday, 31 December. The popular 10 km run is being held between 5.15 pm and 7.10 pm. Traffic restrictions for the first event will be in place from 3.45 pm, and for the second event, from 4.45 pm. Circulation will be halted during the run and gradually reestablished once the runners have passed through each section.

On the occasion of the 27th B100 Nose Race, organised by Barcelona City Council, mobility will be disrupted in some neighbourhoods of Ciutat Vella, L’Eixample and Sant Martí on 31 December.

The route for the popular 10 km run is:  Selva de Mar – Pg. Garcia Fària – Pg. Calvell (side nearest the sea) – Llacuna roundabout (side nearest the sea, in the opposite direction) – Llacuna (side nearest the Llobregat) – Salvador Espriu – Pl. Voluntaris (side nearest the mountains) – Salvador Espriu – Doctor Aiguader – Pl. Pau Vila – Pla de Palau (side nearest the Besòs) – Av. Marquès de l’Argentera (side nearest the sea) – Pg. Picasso (central section, side nearest the Llobregat, in the opposite direction) (180º degree turn by Princesa) – Pg. Picasso (central section, side nearest the Besòs, in the opposite direction) – Pg. Circumval·lació (side nearest the mountains) – Av. Icària (both sides) – Marina (side nearest the Besòs) – Llull – Llacuna – Av. Diagonal (side nearest the sea) – Selva de Mar.

The international 5 km run covers part of the same route but adds Av. Icària (side nearest the mountains) and Llull (in the opposite direction).

Traffic restricted

Traffic circulation is prohibited in all streets making up the route while the run takes place, except for those expressly authorised. Traffic will be cut on Wednesday, 31 December, from 10 am, in:

    • Selva de Mar, from Av. Diagonal to Pg. Taulat.
    • Pujades, from Selva de Mar to Provençals.
    • Llull, from Provençals to Selva de Mar.

From 1 pm:

    • Pg. Taulat (side nearest the mountains), from Selva de Mar to Provençals.
    • Icària (side nearest the mountains), from Arquitecte Sert to Rosa Sensat, and from Àlaba to Marina.
    • Arquitecte Sert, from Doctor Trueta to Av. Icària.

From 3.30 pm:

    • Selva de Mar, from Pg. Taulat to Pg. Garcia Fària.
    • Pg. Taulat, both sides, from Josep Pla to Provençals.
    • Provençals, by Pg. Taulat (side nearest the mountains).

Circulation will be prohibited from 3 pm to 9 pm in the following streets:

    • Llull (side nearest the mountains), from Selva de Mar to Av. Diagonal.
    • Salvador Espriu (side nearest the mountains), from Llacuna to Ramon Trias Fargas.
    • Av. Marquès de l’Argentera (side nearest the sea), from Pla de Palau to Pg. Circumval·lació.
    • Av. Icària (side nearest the mountains), from Rosa Sensat to Marina.
    • Marina (side nearest the Llobregat), from Llull to Dr. Trueta.
    • Marina (side nearest the Besòs), from Dr. Trueta to Llull.
    • Llull (both sides), from Joan d’Àustria to Llacuna.
    • Llacuna (side nearest the Besòs), from Llull to Eva.
    • Llacuna (side nearest the Llobregat), from Llull to Av. Diagonal.

Vehicles that remain parked in these streets despite the signage and measures adopted will be cordoned off.

Disruptions in Ronda Litoral
The following will be closed at the start of the popular run:

    • B-10 exit 23, in the direction of the Llobregat.
    • B-10 exit 22, in the direction of the Llobregat.
    • B-10 exit 22, in the direction of the Llobregat.

Parking prohibited
From 7 am on Tuesday, 30 December, to 9 pm on Wednesday, 31 December, parking will be prohibited in:

    •  Selva de Mar (both sides), from Av. Diagonal to Pg. Garcia Fària (including motorcycles on pavements).
    • Pujades (side nearest the mountain), from Selva de Mar to Provençals (including motorcycles on pavements).
    • Llull – Selva de Mar (all four corners) (including motorcycles on pavements).
    • Pg. Taulat (side nearest the mountains), from Selva de Mar to Provençals.
    • Pg. Taulat (side nearest the sea), from Provençals to Selva de Mar.
    • Pg. Picasso (central section, side nearest the Llobregat), from Princesa to Av. Marquès de l’Argentera.
    • Pg. Circumval·lació (side nearest the mountains), from Wellington to Av. Marquès de l’Argentera.
    • Av. Icària – Arquitecte Sert (Besòs – mountains corner)
    • Av. Icària – Arquitecte Sert (Llobregat – mountains corner)
    • Av. Icària (side nearest the mountains), from Arquitecte Sert to Rosa Sensat.
    • Marina – Llull (Besòs –  sea corner).
    • Llull (both sides), from Marina to Joan d’Àustria (including motorcycles on pavements).

Parking will be prohibited from 2 pm until 9 pm on Wednesday, 31 December, in:

    • Dr. Aiguader (side nearest the mountains), from exit 22 of the B-10 to the point by Carbonell (bus zone).

Vehicles that remain parked in these streets may be removed by BSM tow trucks.

Public transport

Various bus services are affected, with their routes limited or diverted between 10 am and 8.30 pm approximately:

D20, H14, H16, V13, V15, V17, V19, V21, V23, V25, V27, V29, V31, 6, 7, 47, 59, 120, 136, 192 and Barcelona Bus Turístic (red route).

People are advised to get to the start point on the metro and get off at the Selva de Mar station.
