Traffic restrictions will be in place from roughly 8.30 am to 12 noon on all roads making up the route of the half marathon and for the duration of the event. Various bus services will also be affected.
The route for the run is: Pg. Picasso (central section) – Av. Marquès de l’Argentera (whole road surface, except for one lane on the side nearest the sea from Pla de Palau to Pg. Circumval·lació) – Pla de Palau (both sides) – Pg. Isabel II (side nearest the mountains and bus lane) – Pg. de Colom (side nearest the mountains and bus lane) – Pl. Portal de la Pau (sids nearest the mountains) – Pg. Josep Carner (side nearest the mountains) – Pl. Drassanes (three lanes nearest the Besòs – mountain) – Av. Paral·lel (side nearest the Besòs) – Rda. Sant Pau – Comte d’Urgell – Sepúlveda – Entença – Gran Via CC, between Entença and Rambla Catalunya (central section) – Gran Via CC, between Rbla. Catalunya and Pg. de Gràcia (side nearest the sea) – Gran Via CC, between Pg. de Gràcia and Bailèn (three lanes nearest the sea in the central section) – Bailèn – Ronda Sant Pere (in the opposite direction) – Pg. Sant Joan with Pg. Lluís Companys, side of the roundabout nearest the mountain – Pg. Lluís Companys (side nearest the Besòs in the opposite direction) – Buenaventura Muñoz – Pallars – Llacuna – Perú – Josep Pla ( in the opposite direction) – Marroc (in the opposite direction) – Rambla Prim (road surface nearest the Llobregat) – Av. Diagonal (side nearest the mountain) – Lope de Vega (in the opposite direction) – Pallars – Av. Diagonal (road surface nearest the sea) – Pl. Llevant (side nearest the Llobregat – mountains) – Pg. de Taulat (side nearest the mountains) – Josep Pla (in the opposite direction, leaving two lanes completely free for traffic on the Besòs side) – Pg. Garcia Fària (leaving a lane free for traffic on the side nearest the sea, between Josep Pla and Selva de Mar) – Pg. Garcia Fària (occupying the whole road surface between Selva de Mar and Jonquera) – Jonquera – Av. Litoral (in the opposite direction) – Arquitecte Sert – Salvador Espriu – Pl. Voluntaris Olímpics (two lanes on the side nearest the Besòs–mountains) – Marina (side nearest the Besòs) – Pujades (in the opposite direction) –Pg. Pujades.
Ahead of the event, from 2,30 pm, Pg. Picasso and Pg. Pujades will be closed to traffic between Comerç and Wellington.
On Saturday, 15 February, assembly tasks mean traffic restrictions in:
− Pg. Picasso, central section and side lane nearest the Llobregat, from Av. Marqués de l’Argentera to Pg. Pujades, leaving the bus lane open on the side nearest the Besós.
− Pg. Lluís Companys, side nearest the Llobregat, between Comerç and Pg. Pujades.
− Pg. Pujades, side nearest the sea, between Roger de Flor and Wellington.
− Pg. Pujades, bike lane, between Roger de Flor and Nàpols.
At 11 pm on Saturday, the following sections will also be closed to traffic:
– Pg. Lluís Companys, side nearest the Llobregat, between Trafalgar and Pg. Pujades.
– Comerç, between Pg. Pujades and Picasso.
Vehicles parked in C/ Comerç, between Pg. Pujades and Pg. Picasso, if moved, will have to exit by using C/ Comerç in the opposite direction, towards the sea.
During the run, vehicles can access the Estació de França via the station car park and via Pg. Circumval·lació, via Pla de Palau.
District of Sant Martí
During the disruptions it will be possible to access the C-31 using Selva de Mar and the area of Sant Martí via:
Access
– Exit 23 on the Ronda Litoral, in the direction of the Llobregat and the Besòs.
– Joan d’Àustria (below Pallars) with a height limit of 3.2 metres.
Exit
– Access 23 on the Ronda Litoral, in the direction of the Llobregat and the Besòs.
– Zamora (below Pallars).
Disruptions to public transport
Several bus services will be affected, with their routes diverted or limited during the event: D20, D50, H12, H14, H16, V9, V11, V13, V15, V17, V19, V21, V23, V25, V27, V29, V31, 6, 7, 13, 19, 21, 22, 24, 39, 47, 54, 55, 59, 63, 67, 120, 121, 136, 141, 192 and the Barcelona Bus Turístic (blue and red routes).
Given the extent of the disruptions, people are advised to use the metro to get to the different parts of the route.
