After two years of the pandemic and the impact of the restrictions involved, local festivals are now making a return. One of them is the festival in Nou Barris, held from 17 to 22 May. The festival programme includes guided tours, workshops, concerts, dances, theatre, children’s activities and the third Emergency Services Day to be held in the district, with officers from the Barcelona corps taking part.
The day was held on Tuesday 17 May, the goal being for people to discover the different emergency services which operate in the city, through various activities. Visitors were also able to get inside vehicles belonging to the Barcelona City Police.
In parallel, the city’s police corps offered a display by two of its most iconic units, the Dog Unit and the Mounted Unit.
