The customary purple stands, located in areas hosting activities for the city’s local festival and offering support for cases of sexist violence, are giving way to online support this year.

Anybody interested can receive information on potential situations of male sexist violence can use the hashtag #BCNAntimasclista on Twitter. Tweets using the tag will be checked and monitored by a municipal team, with the City Police also participating.

City Police vehicles in the festival areas will be issuing public information messages about the service to make more people aware of it.
