The City Police Territorial Unit for Sant Martí is organising a series of information talks to introduce newly arrived people to the basic rules for coexistence in public space in the city.
The first session was held yesterday, 13 November, in the communal area of a Livensa Living student residence in the city, in the district of Sant Martí.
Stipulated by the residence as an obligatory activity, the talk explained coexistence and nightlife in Barcelona, with neighbourhood police officers from the Barcelona corps informing the students about rules on social behaviour in public space.
Talks by teams of neighbourhood police officers will be given at all student residences.
This programme of sessions forms part of the plan of specific measures for reducing noise, approved on 1 September, for the areas with the densest activity in the leisure triangle in the neighbourhood of El Parc i la Llacuna del Poblenou.
