Europe’s parliamentary elections are being held on 9 June. Barcelona City Council has created 299 polling stations with 1,688 voting points in all. The number of voters in the city on this occasion is 1,107, 208, including Spanish nationals and other EU nationals who have requested a vote.
Which polling station should I vote at in Barcelona?
Check your voting notification card before going to vote. If you want to know where you should vote, you can check by calling the 010 number or on the Barcelona City Council procedures website.
For the elections to the European Parliament on 9 June 2024, the electoral census is made up of Spanish nationals and nationals from other EU countries officially residing in Barcelona and who previously registered to vote, before 30 January, to be able to take part in this election.
To check the electoral census, you should have at least a basic means of digital ID (PIN or IdCat Mòbil) or a medium-level means (digital certificate) and request this on the Barcelona City Council procedures website.

What to bear in mind?
To vote, you must have an original personal identification document with a photograph (DNI, passport or driving licence), which is valid even if it has expired.
Urgent procedures
On polling day, the Monumental Citizen Help and Information Office (C/ Sicília, 216-218) will be open from 9 am to 7 pm to handle urgent procedures, provide general information on the elections and voting hours, resolve any queries from people about where to vote, and issue official residency certificates for anybody on the municipal register before ethe electoral roll was complied but who does not appear on it. In this case, the affected person should go to the INE, which has the power to issue a certificate so that they can vote.
