The campaign by the City Police will run all this week, from 7 am to 10 pm, with a twofold objective: to check these vehicles have the right permits, and that they respect general traffic regulations and all other documentary, administrative and technical requisites.
Vans and lorries used to transport goods have different characteristics to cars. Because of this it’s important to run campaigns such as this one to check these vehicles pay particular attention to aspects such as speed, potential excess loads and the regulations that apply to them.
The City Police enforcement campaign will target infringements involving a lack of documentation and those which pose a danger to all other users. Officers will also work to detect possible technical defects or unauthorised modifications to vehicles, checking MOT certificates where necessary.
The campaign will be in place citywide, with a special focus on roads such as the ringroads of Ronda de Dalt, Ronda Litoral and Ronda del Mig.
