The second edition of the ongoing training for neighbourhood police teams will run from 3 November to 1 December.
The course provides over 150 hours of training and is aimed at neighbourhood police units. It is being conducted with the collaboration of the Association of Criminologists, management professionals from the public administration and university teaching staff.
With training in communication and emotional intelligence, the course will give officers skills for identifying neighbourhood figures who can guide situations and avoid social tensions. Collaboration and close contact with citizens are fundamental for learning to pursue cross-cutting shared action strategies.
