Safety and prevention. The campaign forms part of new joint responsibility plan with citizens to improve coexistence.

The City Police are launching a new campaign from Monday 26 to Friday 30 September, aimed at reducing unauthorised graffiti in public and private spaces which is visible from public streets and squares.

The City Police will be identifying and denouncing conduct which degrades common space and diminishes assets, whether public or private.

All sorts of graffiti are regarded as degrading the urban environment. This includes paint, stains, scribbles, texts, inscriptions or graphics created with ink, paint or any other sort of organic material, or the act of scratching the surface of the asset in question.

The campaign is part of a new joint responsibility plan with citizens, aimed at reducing uncivil attitudes in the city’s streets and squares and at improving coexistence.
