To celebrate European Mobility Week, the City Police are offering free visits to the Children's Traffic Circuit and the Mounted Unit’s stables on 14 and 15 September. Prior registration is required.
The Traffic Circuit playground for children aged 9-12 recreates traffic situations to teach safe driving habits, allowing young participants to experience realistic scenarios in a safe and controlled environment.
The park will provide bikes to complete the circuit, so participants do not need to bring their own. Places must be reserved here to take part this weekend.
At the City Police stables, visitors will get to see where the horses of the Mounted Unit live, as well as the facilities where they train, rest and are looked after by their handlers. Visitors will also get a glimpse into the daily routine of this unit.
The stables are located on Calle de Wellington, in the former Machinery Gallery from the 1888 Barcelona Universal Exposition. To visit, tickets must be booked here.
