IMI

An information session is going to be held this coming 22 February on future invitations to tender for software applications and maintenance data services (AM) which will be launched from the Department of Development at the Municipal Institute of Information Technology (IMI). The goal behind this session is to provide the ICT sector with information on the features and details of the various AM contracts. The aim is give all enterprises access to the public procurement process.

IMI's functions are the development, maintenance and evolution of efficient and productive ICT solutions for city residents and municipal employees. The aim is to supply Barcelona City Council and the public sector companies attached to it with all the required information and communication technology (ICT) services.

The nature of the applications that IMI manages is diverse, owing to factors such as criticality, volume of users, volume of data and the functional and technological environment they operate in. These applications require maintenance, support and development of functionalities resulting from the new needs arising from Barcelona City Council’s various areas. That is why IMI has been preparing the following invitations to tender for contracts for sectoral maintenance services:

• Manager's Office for SAP Resources AM: Software Application Maintenance and Development (AM) at the Manager's Office for Resources (MR) in an SAP environment at Barcelona City Council.
• Manager's Office for J2EE Resources AM: Software Application Maintenance and Development (AM) in the J2EE, .NET and Client/Server environment at the Manager's Office for Resources (MR) at Barcelona City Council.
• Social rights AM: Software Application Maintenance and Development (AM) at the Manager's Office for Social Rights (MSR) at Barcelona City Council.
• Citizenship, Participation and Transparency AM: Software Application Maintenance and Development (AM) at the Manager's Office for Citizen Rights, Participation and Transparency (MCRPT) at Barcelona City Council.
• Economic, financial and investments MPE AM: Maintenance and Development of part of the software applications (AM) at the MPE at Barcelona City Council.
• MPE BPC AM: SAP BPC (Business Planning and Consolidation) Information System Maintenance and Development at the Manager's Office for Presidency and Economy (MPE) at Barcelona City Council. The SAP BPC system manages the preparations of the Municipal Budget, budgetary proposals, presentations of accounts to the IGAE and financial consolidations at Barcelona City Council.
• MPE PCM AM: SAP PCM (Profitability Cost Management) Information System Maintenance and Development at the Manager's Office for Presidency and Economy (MPE) at Barcelona City Council. The SAP PCM system manages cost accounting for the City Council’s activities.
• Safety and Prevention AM: Software Application Maintenance and Development (AM) at the Manager's Office for Safety and Prevention (MSP) at Barcelona City Council.
