» The Barcelona City Council has produced a new brochure of the NUST Network with the aim of promoting awareness of the Network, as well as encouraging the adhesion of companies and organisations that are committed to a new culture of healthier, fairer and more efficient working time.

» Member organisations highlight the services offered by the Network in supporting companies in this transformation process, the benefits of implementing work-time management measures (increased employee well-being or improved productivity), access to shared knowledge with other organisations, or the opportunity to contribute to making Barcelona a pioneering city in promoting a new work culture.

The NUST Network – Network of Companies for a New Working Time – was founded in 2006. It currently brings together more than 150 companies and entities of diverse sectors and sizes, committed to a work-time organisation model that combines well-being and efficiency, and that contributes to making Barcelona a healthier, more egalitarian, efficient and sustainable city to live and work in.

In a constantly changing economic and social context, the way work time is organised is key to the sustainability and competitiveness of organisations. Overcoming rigid models and opting for more flexible, efficient and people-centred formulas is not only a matter of work-life balance, but also a strategy that boosts motivation, talent retention and adaptation to current challenges.

Implementing new ways of organising work time allows for:

  • Optimizing processes and increasing productivity.
  • Transforming the work environment into an attractive space to attract and retain talent.
  • Increasing the commitment and well-being of the team.
  • Ensuring talent retention throughout the different professional stages.
  • Advancing in equal opportunities and gender parity.
  • Reducing environmental impact through more sustainable work habits.
  • Organizing time with a real impact on people and results.

The NUST Network offers support, knowledge and community to drive these changes: tailor-made accompaniment and advice for each organisation (Free Advisory Service for Companies on Equality and Time Organisation), learning spaces (training pills and resource bank) and projection and recognition (participation in local and international events, conferences and forums, connection with other networks and initiatives that promote a new work culture and own space on the municipal website).

The voice of organisations:
