The corps displayed two cars and two motorcycles at an event in Esplugues de Llobregat on Sunday, 26 May, to raise money for research and treatment relating to the illness.
Several security and emergency teams operated by local, regional and national authorities took part throughout the morning, offering displays and activities at the solidarity event organised by the local police in Esplugues de Llobregat and open to the general public.
Donations will all go to the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu and can still be made using this link, up to Monday, 3 June.
The City Police regularly take part in solidarity events. For instance, in December the corps organised a food collection for elderly people at risk of social exclusion and in February two members of the corps explained their volunteer experiences in meeting at the ISPC, where social organisations also took part.
