Galicia. Dance. Barcelona premiere

Everything begins up there, from where we watch what is happening and record or examine what is foreign or unknown to us. Alleo (“alien” in Galician) is based on the idea of the watchtower and speaks about the unknown, the yet-to-come, about the tower and that person who keeps watch there, grappling with the loneliness of their position and the weight of discovery.

Colectivo Glovo is a Galician-Portuguese dance company based in Galicia, co-directed by Hugo Pereira and Esther Latorre. Ever since it was founded, Colectivo Glovo has travelled around many countries, including Spain, Portugal, Italy, France, Mexico, Costa Rica, South Korea and Indonesia. Both members have extensive individual careers.
