A special operation by the City Police will accompany the victory parade around the city streets to celebrate the titles won this season by the FC Barcelona men’s team, roughly from 6 pm to 9 pm. People are advised to use the metro.
The parade will set off from the Camp Nou and take the following route: Arístides Maillol – Trav. Corts – Numància – Berlín – París – Balmes – Pelai – Pl. Catalunya – Fontanella – Pl. Urquinaona – Trafalgar – Pg. Sant Joan and finally Arc de Triomf.
From first thing this morning, on-street parking is prohibited in C/ Fontanella. The City Police will be cutting traffic in streets as the parade progresses and applying measures to ensure safety and the flow of traffic and pedestrians.
Extra staff will be working at the metro stations around the parade route, helping control access and regulating the flow of people.
Besides facilitating mobility, the City Police and the Mossos d’Esquadra police corps will be working to ensure safety and security during the celebration.
