The 30 new stations form part of the enlargement of this public bike-sharing network. The boost to the network brings the number of operational stations to 557, with 5,000 electric bikes available.

Eight of the new stations have been installed in mountain neighbourhoods to facilitate the expansion of the service in these parts of the city and boost connections between neighbourhoods.

Bicing continues its consolidation as a leading bike-sharing service at an international level, every year registering continued growth in use and subscribers. June saw the service notch up 100 million accumulated journeys since the new Bicing service was introduced in 2019.
