The Sant Andreu District presents the Sant Andreu Awards at its annual festival. These awards and distinctions recognise the careers, work or initiatives of individuals and organisations that carry out their activity in the district. This year's awards will fall under four categories:

• The Sant Andreu award for best organisation project: projects and initiatives can be entered provided their aim is to achieve a positive impact for district residents. The award is worth 1,500 euros.  

• The Sant Andreu special award: dedicated this year to projects linked to the world of education and fighting for a Barcelona that is more children- and youth-friendly, in recognition of innovative initiatives in various spheres of society. It is worth 1,000 euros.

• Personal distinction: in recognition of the work performed by an individual or group of individuals in view of its importance or public interest, provided it is carried out individually or collectively within the physical boundaries of the Sant Andreu district.

• Distinctions for organisation anniversaries: these are only assessed and taken into account for the 10th and 25th anniversaries and every 25 years after that.

Any individual or organisation taking part can only enter one candidacy in a category, with the exception of distinction for organisation anniversaries, which can be entered with other categories.
