The challenges facing modern society cannot be addressed through individual solutions or isolated projects. Improving the quality of life of city residents and strengthening civic engagement requires collaborative efforts; this means working together to promote, develop, and facilitate collective solutions to common problems.

In this context, the Sant Andreu district aims to establish the Sant Andreu Awards to recognise the vital role played by residents and local organisations in promoting community initiatives that have a positive social, educational, cultural, or environmental impact in our area.

Awards will fall under four categories:

• Sant Andreu Award for the best local entity project, for initiatives that aim to have a positive impact on local residents in the Sant Andreu district.
• Special Sant Andreu Award, this year dedicated to projects with a focus on culture and community.
• Personal distinction: in recognition of the work performed by an individual or group of individuals given its importance or the public interest, provided it is carried out individually or collectively within the physical boundaries of the Sant Andreu district.
• Distinctions for the anniversaries of organisations set up 10 and 25 years ago, and successively every 25 years, that celebrate their anniversaries during the year of the award call.

Individuals and organisations can only be nominated for one category, with the exception of the award for organisations celebrating certain anniversaries, which may be submitted alongside other categories. 

Applications should be completed and submitted via the City Council's e-office (http://www.bcn.cat/tramits) following the instructions indicated on this portal.

Nominations for the various awards can be submitted from the day after the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona, and until 15 October 2025.
