On 7 November 2025, the Deputy Mayor’s Office for Social Rights, Economic Promotion, Employment, Feminism and Democratic Memory of Barcelona City Council adopted the following resolution whereby it:

Retroactively APPROVES the call for applications in the 14th edition of the BARCELONA PRE-ACCELERATION PROGRAMME AWARD, aimed at projects with significant R&D requirements an technology development as the core business, led by teams of highly qualified scientific or technical experts pursuant to the terms and conditions definitively approved on 17 December 2021 and in accordance with Article 39.3 of Act 39/2015, of 1 October, on the common administrative procedures of public authorities;

VALIDATES all the proceedings, pursuant to Article 52(1) and (2) of the aforementioned Act;

DECLARES that the deadline for submitting applications was 22 September 2025 and that the jury deliberated on 2 October 2025, as provided for in the call for applications;

PUBLISHES said call for applications in the Official Gazette of Barcelona Province and on the municipal website;

ASSIGNS BARCELONA ACTIVA, SAU, SPM, as a collaborating organisation pursuant to Provision Six of the terms and conditions, to manage the proceedings (except for the decision) and the payment of the 14th edition of the BARCELONA PRE-ACCELERATION PROGRAMME AWARD.

Barcelona City Council and Barcelona Activa, SAU, SPM are running the fourteenth edition of the BARCELONA PRE-ACCELERATION PROGRAMME AWARD.

This award is part of the PRE-ACCELERATION PROGRAMME, which supports entrepreneurial projects, whether formally incorporated or not, in technology-intensive initial phases. It is open to projects with significant R&D requirements and technology development as the core business, led by teams of highly qualified scientific or technical experts. As such, it is essential to have the support of research centres and universities and to work in collaboration with them. This award recognises the best project in each edition.

Companies participating in the programme are eligible for the award if they:

- Have actively participated in the PRE-ACCELERATION PROGRAMME by completing at least four of the five established mentoring sessions.

- Have completed the Business Plan and have submitted it satisfactorily by 22 September 2025.

- Have submitted the Onepage by 22 September 2025.
