Barcelona City Council

Call for applications to select a promotional poster for the 2024 District of Les Corts Annual Festival, or Festa Major, with a €1,000 prize to the winner (taxable, according to the corresponding IRPF income tax rate).

The call for applications to this public competition has the following purposes:

• To foster the participation of emerging and professional artists.
• To foster the participation of people with a variety of creative interests and sensitivities.
• To encourage the participation of people and groups in Festa Major events.
• To encourage a feeling of belonging among residents in terms of the area and its festivals.
• To establish new participation tools for residents.
• To promote the socio-cultural values of solidarity, integration, community harmony and neighbourhood cohesion.

The competition is open to professional and emerging artists alike, whether they be natural or legal persons.

The requisites that participants must meet are in Item 4 of the general terms and conditions.

Applications may be submitted from 2 May to 23 May 2024

Natural persons can fill in and present their application via the City Council's e-headquarters [Es]: following the instructions set out in that procedures portal, or present their application at the District of Les Corts Citizen Help and Information Office (OAC in Catalan), located at No. 18 Plaça de Comas, or at any Barcelona City Council registration point that is open.

Legal persons must present their application via the City Council's e-headquarters [Es], in accordance with Article 14 of the LPACAP.
