Barcelona City Council

The Youth Comics Award is an artistic-creation competition whose goal is to prevent and eliminate gender violence among teenagers and young people.

Young people and teenagers will be eligible to take part in this competition if they live, study or work in Barcelona and are no older than 25 on 31 December of the year of the call , in any of the following categories: 

1. ​Category A (comics): individuals between the ages of 16 and 25, on 31 December of the year of the call
2. Category B (comics): individuals under the age of 16, on 31 December of the year of the call 

Youngsters can enter individually or collectively, but only one piece of work can be entered by each participant. 

Schools, facilities and services for teenagers and young people in Barcelona can also take part in the following category, where only one piece of work can be entered: 

1. ​Category C (fanzine) 

Entry period for taking part in the Sant Martí Youth Comics Award. Works can be entered any time between 10 January and 17 April.
