The financial assistance awarded by Barcelona City Council aims to ensure that children aged 1 to 17 from low-income families are able to access the municipal programme of activities for children and adolescents during the summer holidays.

Please bear in mind that:

• Within each household, assistance will be awarded to all children for whom it is requested, with a maximum of one activity per child, provided that all eligibility requirements are met.
• Only one application per child will be accepted. If more than one application is submitted for the same child, the last application made will be admitted and earlier applications will be disregarded.
• Assistance will cover a maximum of 10 days per child for activities that take place in Barcelona, with the exception of summer nursery schools and adapted activities without overnight stays, in which case assistance will cover a maximum of 14 days per child.
• Assistance will cover a maximum of 14 days per child for activities that take place outside Barcelona (summer camps, excursions, etc.).
• Children and young people with a recognised disability of 33% or higher who take part in the activities are eligible for assistance for ordinary activities if they are 19 or under, and for adapted activities if they are 21 or under.
• To request assistance, you will need the activity code (it will be provided to you by the organising association when you register) and the child’s IDALU (student ID). If the child does not have an IDALU number, let the association know when you register for the activity.
