Barcelona Producció is an annual public competition awarding grants for members of Barcelona’s art scene to carry out artistic projects. Covering a range of different categories

—individual exhibitions, curated projects, lines of research, publications, mobile projects and performance art— the content produced will be at the heart of the Centre d’Art La Capella’s programme of events. The 2025 Barcelona Producció grants will be awarded to a total of seventeen projects (eight exhibition projects and nine non exhibition projects).

Barcelona Producció is for groups and individuals over the age of 18 in the city’s artistic community who share their creative project and have designated a representative of legal age and indicated the author/s of the work. 

Each participating artist must demonstrate a connection with Barcelona, such as having studied or developed their professional career in the city.

The call for submissions is open for 30 calendar days, from 1 to 30 May 2024, and applications must be made using the form that can be downloaded from the La Capella website.

The form can be submitted through any of the channels provided for in Article 16 of Act 39/2015, on the shared administrative procedures of public institutions, and specifically 

• online, using the above-mentioned link on La Capella’s website
• in person, at the Citizen Culture Office (OCCU), by making an appointment on their website.
