The purpose of this call for applications is to regulate and set out the criteria and procedures for applying for, processing, awarding, receiving and justifying grants from the Barcelona Institute of Culture to finance investments in information and communication technologies (ICT) to carry out experimental and innovative projects in the field of culture in the city of Barcelona in 2025.

This call for grant applications for ICT infrastructure investments aims to support experimental and innovative projects that explore new forms of expression and methodologies related to cultural inititatives and digital creativity. 

These investment grants are open to natural persons or legally incorporated entities working in the fields of culture, creativity, and innovation, whose registered office or professional activity is based in the city of Barcelona and is related to the areas specified in the call for applications.

For legal entities, in accordance with Article 14 of Act 39/2015 of 1 October on the Common Administrative Procedure for Public Administrations, applications must be completed and submitted through the Virtual Procedures Office on the Barcelona City Council’s e-office, following the instructions provided on this portal.

For individuals who are not required to interact with the Administration electronically, applications should preferably be submitted via the Virtual Procedures Office on the Barcelona City Council’s e-office, although they may also be submitted at any of the Barcelona City Council’s registration offices.

The application period will begin on the day following the date of publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona and will end on 8 September 2025.
