Barcelona City Council

Acting through Barcelona Activa, Barcelona City Council aims to support Barcelona’s registered residents who are unemployed and have started a new economic activity as self-employed workers (individual business people) or as new members of worker cooperatives, under the terms and conditions provided for in the regulatory rules approved by the Government Commission on 11 May 2023.

The regulatory rules will be available for public scrutiny for 20 working days as from the day immediately after their date of publication in the Official Province Gazette. 

The deadline for submitting applications will be two months as from the day immediately following the date of the regulatory rules’ final approval. The final date for the start of the period will be published in good time in due course on this municipal website and on the programme web page www.barcelonactiva.cat/autonomes.
