Barcelona City Council

The goals of this call are to provide economic support for retailers to meet the everyday costs of their facilities, and to drive other measures to add vitality to commerce, helping the market become stronger as an essential social driver for neighbourhoods from the perspective of commerce and economic activity.

As regards home-delivery services, the subsidy is solely reserved for markets that start home-delivery services with  labour insertion companies during this financial year.

The forms for applying and detailing general overheads can be downloaded from the website Mercats de Barcelona. Applications should be submitted to the Barcelona Municipal Institute of Markets and are to be presented solely in an electronic format via the Barcelona City Council e-headquarters. The procedure is started by clicking on “general application (start of online procedure)” and users must have an electronic certificate.

The period for submitting applications and documents will run from 8 May to 19 June (inclusive)
