Public call for subsidy applications through the Global Justice Cooperation Programme, the Global Justice Cooperation Programme in Specific Cities, and the Global Justice Education Programme, taking into account their specific criteria, for projects starting in 2025

Two types of projects are distinguished for all three programmes: annual projects (lasting up to 12 months) and multi-annual projects (lasting from 12 to 24 months). Project timelines do not have to match the calendar years.

The categories of projects eligible for funding under each programme are as follows:

A. COOPERATION FOR GLOBAL JUSTICE 

A1. Global justice cooperation projects in line with the goals of the Master Plan (annual and multi-year projects)

A2 Cooperation projects that promote assistance and protection at borders and the right to migrate (annual projects)

A3. Cooperation projects that promote gender justice (annual projects).

A4. Global justice cooperation programmes promoting international support and protection of human rights defenders (annual projects)

A5. Interventions in protracted crises (multi-year projects).

B. COOPERATION FOR GLOBAL JUSTICE IN SPECIFIC CITIES 

B1. Cooperation projects for global justice in specific cities aligned with the objectives of the Master Plan (annual and multi-year projects).

C. EDUCATION FOR GLOBAL JUSTICE 

C1. Global justice education programmes in line with the goals of the Master Plan (annual and multi-year projects)

C2. Service-learning projects jointly submitted by an NGO and one or more educational institutions (formal and non-formal education), (annual projects)

C3. Projects aimed at promoting policy coherence in public policies related to global justice (multi-year projects)

C4.  Annual awareness-raising programmes for global justice aligned with the objectives of the Master Plan (multi-year projects)

Application documents for this call must be submitted exclusively via the online platform through the Barcelona City Council’s procedures portal (seuelectronica.ajuntament.barcelona.cat/oficinavirtual), following the instructions provided.

The application period is open from 25 February to 17 March 2025 (inclusive).
