The purpose of this call is to award multi-year subsidies, under a competitive public process and within the limits established in the municipal budget, for the planning, management and monitoring of the community development plans and processes specified in the call, with an implementation period running from 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2027, in the city of Barcelona. 

The projects eligible for the subsidy must have social cohesion and inclusion as their main objective, and must be carried out through community action fostering social relations, belonging, cooperation and community network-building between members of a certain common space, that strengthen the social fabric and associations as an element of social and community promotion, and raise awareness of the values of community associations and volunteering. The projects must also take into account the community intervention model promoted by the Directorate-General for Community Action and Social Innovation of the Government of Catalonia, as well as the strategic and operational conceptual framework for community action of Barcelona City Council.

Projects eligible for the subsidy must promote activities of public or social interest that have the transformative intention to: 

• Strengthen (empower) the community.
• Improve living conditions (responding to needs).
• Promote social inclusion or cohesion. 

The scope of intervention of the projects must fall within the following neighbourhoods: 

• La Barceloneta
• Sagrada Família
• L’Esquerra de l’Eixample
• El Poble-sec
• Marina de Port and Marina del Prat Vermell
• La Salut
• El Carmel
• Verdun
• Les Roquetes
• Navas
• La Verneda i La Pau
• El Poblenou
• El Besòs i El Maresme

The deadline for submitting applications is 15 working days from the day after the call announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona.
