The event coincides with the application process for the next competitive entrance exams for both corps. A joint talk is also scheduled for Thursday, 27 March, from 1.30 to 2.30 pm, explaining how to access the corps and the details of the new recruitment calls.
- The City Police and the Barcelona Fire Service will once again be taking part in the Saló de l’Ensenyament (Teaching Fair), which is on at Fira de Barcelona Montjuïc from 26 to 30 March 2025.
The two corps will be sharing a stand in hall 2, where they will be presenting their professional options. Anybody interested in obtaining information first hand, for instance about the work that each corps carries out, working conditions and entry requisites, can go to the stand.

In these recruitment calls, there are 134 places for officers with the City Police and 60 places for firefighters, bringing the size of each workforce to record levels.
The stand is open at the following times:
- Wednesday to Friday: 9 am to 7 pm
- Saturday: 9 am to 8 pm
- Sunday: 9 am to 2.30 pm
