Barcelona City Council’s Municipal Institute of Information Technology aims to establish an accessible WI-FI network from any point in the city, to provide city residents with an internet connection. Hence the creation of Barcelona WIFI, a public and free-access WI-FI network, the biggest of its kind in Spain, and one of the most important in Europe.
Description
Barcelona Wi-Fi is a Barcelona City Council service that enables you to connect to the Internet from most of the city’s public roads and squares. Access points are located inside municipal facilities and at several points in the street, providing a total of around 750 points.
