E-Notification
Reference framework
The new Act 39/2015, of 1 October, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Authorities establishes that e-procedures have to constitute the regular actions of public authorities to better serve the principles of effectiveness and efficiency in cost saving, transparency obligations and citizens’ guarantees. The Municipal Institute of Information Technology is working to enable the City Council to establish the criteria for running the electronic notifications system of this Institute and its dependent bodies.
Description
Municipal information systems manage and process several types of administrative files and procedures that require the final recipient to be notified. The main goal behind e-Notification (electronic notification) is to offer the City Council the functions required for every file that is electronically processed so that they become the normal course of action in notifications.
That will enable a large volume of e-notifications to be sent, thereby reducing response times, costs and paper and providing more availability and guarantees for citizens.
