Armand de Fluvià Documentation Centre
Barcelona LGBTI Centre houses the Armand de Fluvià Documentation Centre through an agreement for loan of use established with the facility by Casal Lambda.
The resources at the Centre include a large documentary collection (library, newspaper library, video library and historic archive) related to sexual, affective and gender diversity.
The Documentation Centre also includes a reference room open to students, researchers and workers with the purpose of:
- Compiling documentation on LGBTI issues that may be of interest to LGBTIQA+ people, available to the general public.
- Establishing contact and enabling cooperation between individuals, organisations and citizen initiatives that work for the LGBTIAQ+ rights.
- Producing publications and materials to train workers and raise social awareness about sexual, affective and gender diversity.
- Promoting and enabling the study of and historic research into the fight for LGBTI rights in the city of Barcelona and the rest of the world.
Opening times:
Monday & Tuesday: 5 pm to 8 pm
Wednesday: 10 am to 1 pm
Thursday & Friday: 5 pm to 8 pm
