» From 13 to 15 October, Barcelona will host the twelfth edition of Time Use Week (TUW), the major international meeting on time policies.

Under the slogan ‘The Right to Time in the Age of Artificial Intelligence’, TUW 2025 will focus on how technology and innovation can transform the organisation of time and advance the recognition of this right of citizenship. Among other topics, there will be debates on how to eradicate time poverty, what the distribution of our schedules might look like in the future, and what responses administrations, companies and civil society can provide to make this right effective.

A conference with a global perspective

The programme will combine conferences, round tables, interactive workshops, and networking spaces with the participation of experts in fields such as artificial intelligence, the labour market, care and urban innovation. Specifically, the main events are divided into:

  • 13 October: Opening day at the Barcelona Industrial School with leading figures such as Ramon López de Mántaras (IIIA-CSIC) and Natalia Olson-Urtecho, former advisor to President Obama. Check out the programme and register here.
