Municipal Women’s Councils are consultative and participatory bodies for Barcelona’s women in relation to the City Council’s policies at both city and district levels (Barcelona Women’s Council and District Women's Councils respectively).

The District Women’s Councils are independent work bodies linked to the various areas and aimed at providing local responses adapted to each of the city's various realities.
