An activist in the fight against child sexual abuse, which she herself experienced between the ages of five and seventeen. She verbalised it as an adult and realised that one of the main problems facing victims of this type of violence is the lack of acceptance within their family environment. She decided to get involved in preventing child sexual violence in 1997, initially by establishing the organisation FADA which was renamed the Vicki Bernadet Foundation in 2006. The foundation not only works to prevent and raise awareness of child sexual abuse in the family environment, but it also supports adults who have experienced abuse with specialised social, psychological and legal assistance. Its territorial scope encompasses all of Catalonia and Aragon via the resources available at its branches in Barcelona and Zaragoza.
