Barcelona Llibres is joining in with International Mountain Day (11 December) with an Instagram promotion for the book ‘Estimada Collserola’ by Raúl Deamo.

The new book Estimada Collserola brings together illustrations from the routes covered by Raúl Deamo during a year around the mountain range, highlighting the beauty and importance of this green lung for the city. The book shows the people who live there, the gullies and tracks, leading us into the woodlands and taking us to peaks, ponds, cultivation areas, country houses, hermitages and extremely beautiful natural landscapes. This is an illustrated mountain trip sure to keep on surprising you.

We’re giving away three copies of the book for International Mountain Day. If you’d like to have a go at getting one, you can take part on social media, following these rules:

INSTAGRAM

Participation

– You need to have an Instagram account and meet the following requisites:

*Over 14 years old.

*Resident in the Spanish state.

*Participate using a real and active Instagram account, with no anomalies and unable to be considered as having been created with the sole purpose of taking part. Because of this, only accounts with profile pictures will be valid. The organisers reserve the right to disqualify profiles. Those with seemingly abusive or badly intended behaviour will be excluded. Where any sign of false identities or fraudulent use exists, the organisers reserve the right to immediately exclude the participating profile, unilaterally and without the need for notification or justification.

*Follow the Instagram profile for Barcelona Llibres: www.instagram.com/barcelonallibres.

*Click on “like” for the post explaining the promotion.

*Comment on the publication mentioning three Instagram users in a comment.

– Replies which are discriminatory, offensive, insulting or belittling towards people / an activity or an event / institution / city will be disqualified, as will those promoting political propaganda, the dissemination of xenophobic, racist or discriminatory ideas, attitudes or actions towards race, sex, thought, religion and, in general, contrary or offensive in relation to human rights.

– The promotion will follow Instagram rules.

Mechanism

 – The method for taking part in the promotion and the selection of winners of the books will be set out in the specific post on the Instagram profile for Barcelona Llibres.

– The winners’ profiles will be chosen using Google AppSorteos and announced in an Instagram post on Wednesday 20 December.

– Users will be able to take part in the promotion from the moment of publication until 12 noon on 18 December 2023.

– The chosen profiles with be contacted with a direct message on Instagram to request their personal data.

– The winners will have two months to collect their book from the Llibreria de la Sala Ciutat, at Carrer Ciutat 2, Barcelona. The bookshop is open Mondays to Fridays, from 10 am to 2 pm and 3 pm to 8 pm, and Saturdays, from 10 am to 2 pm.

Award.

– The three winning profiles will each get a copy of the book Estimada Collserola from Barcelona Llibres.
