Bodies Involved
Ecology, Urban Planning and Mobility Area has different instruments as well as advisory and participatory bodies for effective involvement and collaboration in municipal projects with the general public, groups and organizations, and both public and private entities.

Improvements to the play area in Plaça Castella

A wooden structure linked to one of the garden spaces will facilitate access for children. The space in question is often used as a playground area by the Escola Castella.

The wooden structures will take the form of a grandstand on different levels and unite the paving in the square with the elevated level of the parterre. The structure will provide a platform for easy access to the whole circular soft-surface area in front of the school, offering an additional recreational element.

The work will be complemented with a partial renewal of paving, with the spring in front of the Sant Pare Nolasc church to be shifted to a more central spot. With a budget of 175,000 euros, work is to start in the first half of January and should take three months.
