The project to remodel the street corner between Aragó and Bruc was put forward in the last edition of the Participatory Budget. Pedestrians here are mainly concentrated at different facilities such as the Escola de la Concepció, the Mercat de la Concepció, the Municipal Conservatory and the District Office. The final project will now be drafted before a calendar is established for work to be carried out. Work is expected to start in 2024.

The reurbanisation of the street corner will create more space and better pedestrian access to the different facilities where the two streets converge, as well as space around the Escola de la Concepció.

The project was part of the initiative to create five eco-friendly street corners along C/ Aragó, presented in the last edition of the Participatory Budget. The planning projects for the other four corners were disregarded by the District of L’Eixample so as not to lose parking spaces for urban goods distribution and due to the complexity of relocating other services.
