A library service, workshops, talks and an extended summer activity programme to delve into topics such as biodiversity, respect for nature and the conservation of endangered species. The activities organised by the Zoo are free and may need to be booked in advance.

People visiting the Zoo in the summer will find a different agenda to the rest of the year, designed with the school holidays in mind.

• Summer activity camps: extra places have been added on these recreational activities this year, which offer eleven topics such as “Let’s save the animals” and “Let’s save our environment”. A thousand children have signed up for these activities.
• Ludo Zoo: books, games and other materials to discover the planet’s biodiversity.
• Workshops and talks: meetings with animal keepers and special visits to the invertebrate space and the Sahel savanna.

A new activity on felines has also been organised for members of the Zoo Club with the nature passport. Participants fill in the document to show they’ve taken part in different activities until they gain symbolic recognition as nature experts.
