Municipal council

The Full Council for the 2019-2023 term of office was made up of 41 councillors. 

Six municipal groups were constituted (Esquerra Republicana de Catalunya, Barcelona en Comú, Partit dels Socialistes de Catalunya, Junts per Catalunya, Barcelona pel Canvi - Ciutadans and Partit Popular) and an agreement formalised between Barcelona en Comú and the Partit dels Socialistes de Catalunya to govern the city.
